My name is Erin Dreher. I am the Instructional Client Representative for the Blended School program. I decided that I wanted to be a History teacher when I was in the 8th grade. My teacher that year had such a passion for history and made learning so much fun that I decided that I wanted to instill a love of history in students. I had two awesome history teachers in high school that helped to reinforce that idea. I received a BA in History from Penn State University and received my social studies teaching certification in PA from Cedar Crest College in December 2004. I taught for two semesters at a local community college and also held a number of long term substitute positions. I began teaching for The Keystone School in Sept 2007. I also spent 2 years teaching social studies at an alternative high school outside of Philadelphia. In the summer of 2010 I applied for the ICR position with K12. I have greatly enjoyed working with the teachers and staff over the past year and look forward to many more years with K12. I am currently working towards a master’s degree in History and hope to get back into the community college classroom on a part time basis. I have been married for 6 years to my extremely supportive husband Scott. My goal for the blended programs is to put processes in place that will help keep launch and end of year transitions running as smoothly as possible.
Scott Gotreau (light gray region)
My name is Scott Gotreau. I live in Southern California in the famous Orange County, home to Mickey Mouse and the original real housewives. My lovely wife and I have two beautiful children, a 5-year old daughter and a 2-year old son. My family is my greatest joy.
In my free time, I love to travel, watch sports of all kinds (I am a sports nut), and play with my kids. I am an avid runner who has completed several marathons. Presently, I am training for a 200-mile relay for which I am also our team captain.
The “surf region,” as I like to call our region, is comprised of two very different states. Hawaii tends to be quite laid back and the schools there move at their own pace, whereas California is driven by rigorous teacher standards and results-driven education. My hope is to establish a stronger communication network for these schools this year. I am always open to suggestions for how to improve our relationship with clients. If you have questions about a particular school or their demographics, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

Hello! I began teaching for K12/Aventa in the fall of 2010 as a Math instructor. In the fall of 2011 I became a Co-Instructional Supervisor for the IST Math Department. On June 15th I became the SW Region – AZ/NV/UT Instructional Manager and Client Representative. I look forward to the new role and welcome the opportunity to have more interaction with instructors in other departments! It has been wonderful getting to meet the instructors from my region and I am encouraged by the enthusiasm and positive attitude that the instructors have as they create a welcoming positive on-line learning environment for their students!
I live in Flagstaff, AZ with my husband and two children. My husband and I were both raised in Flagstaff and my son and daughter are now fourth generation Flagstaff residents. We enjoy being outside and many of our adventures include camping, fishing, and riding horses. I am a part of a large extended family and many of our vacations and camping trips include multiple generations.
I am excited to be a part of the IST SW Region and the K12 community and look forward to the next year!
